Details of the service

IDT provides Wi-Fi Services for students, staff and visitors who want to access the Internet through a computer, a notebook, a tablet or a smart phone.

Wi-Fi Network Service

Example:

1. Automatic Connection (dot1x SSID) Available networks:

  • @NIDA
  • @NIDA by True
  • @NIDA by AIS


One-time setup, allowing continuous use without frequent logins.
Ideal for personal mobile devices.
Important: If logging in on a public/shared device, remember to Forget the network after use to prevent unauthorized access under the Computer Crime Act.


2. Temporary Connection (Web Login SSID) Available networks:

  • NIDA Wireless
  • NIDA WiFi by True
  • NIDA WiFi by AIS

– Requires login via a web portal.
– Users need to log in again after inactivity (idle timeout) or session expiration.

Users must log in using their NetID, followed by @nida.ac.th.

For departments organizing academic conferences or training events, temporary internet access can be requested by filling out the Temporary Internet Access Request Form.
